Biography

Liu Xiaojun, Associate Chief Physician, Lecturer, MD, Member of the Laser Medicine Branch of the Guangdong Medical Association. He graduated from Changzhi Medical College in Shanxi Province with a bachelor's degree in 1993; in 1995, he was admitted to the First Military Medical University as a master's degree candidate in plastic surgery; he received his master's degree in 1998 and his doctoral degree in 2007. He has been engaged in clinical diagnosis and treatment and research in plastic surgery for more than ten years. He is skilled in various flap transplantation and reconstructive procedures and microsurgical techniques. His main research focus is the cellular biological characteristics and gene regulation of scars, and he has considerable experience in the surgical treatment of scars, hemangiomas, and common facial plastic and aesthetic surgery. He has published more than ten academic papers; he has participated in two research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and two research projects funded by the Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation.
